What is Hydrodermabrasion?

During the summer, the lack of moisture in the air can really start to mess with your skin. Without a proper spf to protect you, your skin can be left vulnerable and prone to redness, irritation & dryness.

While hydration is a year-round requirement, summer is when it should be the main focus in your skin care routine. Our bodies use up more moisture during the hotter days to keep cool; meaning that every time you sweat, you need to gain that moisture back. This can easily be done by drinking lots of water every day but what if your skin is still looking dull and dry?

Hydrodermabrasion is a procedure that implements saline and oxygen to exfoliate and hydrate your skin. Water droplets are sprayed onto the face, which then dissolve the dead skin on the top layer of the skin; our epidermis’ stratum corneum. Unlike microdermabrasion, hydrodermabrasion does not use crystals that can potentially tear the skin when left unchecked. This facial treatment is even gentle enough for those with sensitive skin and will give you a regenerative, penetrating exfoliation without the irritation.

Some of the benefits of hydrodermabrasion treatments include: a boost in circulation, minimization of pores, reduction of wrinkles and just like the name suggests, extra hydration! Book your appointment for a hydrodermabrasion/ hydrafacial and let us help you live pretty, visually.
